Q Surely Jesus is not the only way to God?
This is an interesting question because it refers to something Jesus said about himself (John 14:6), Jesus answered, “I am THE way THE truth and THE life. No-one comes to the Father, except through me.” Many people who ask this question actually believe that Jesus was a good teacher of good morals.

It is important to make it clear that Christians believe that Christ is the way to God because Jesus said it about himself – this is not something we have made up later so that we can be right and everybody else wrong. We need to decide what we think about Jesus – was he good? If so, why would he say something like this? Could it actually be true? Was he in fact bad – did he know he wasn’t God and try to deceive people? Was he mad? Bad?
But if he is good, and what he said is true, then he is God and we need to listen to him and trust in what he says.
