Q Is there really a heaven and hell?
What do we know about heaven and hell? We know because someone who has experience of these things - Jesus, God’s son - has come to earth to tell us about it. Now we may think that the idea of hell is a very unpopular and horrible idea but let’s think for a few moments about the nature of justice. In general do we as human beings want fairness and justice? The answer is probably yes. If someone beats me up and nicks my mobile phone and all my cash, do I want justice for them? Yes, my heart cries out for it. I want them caught and dealt with by the police. However if you (or a parent, if you’re not old enough!) are driving along and a speed camera catches you, you have to pay £90 and you get 3 points on your license.
