| Q
I've never really done anything bad, why do I need God?
It is a common misconception for many that they feel that they
have not really done anything bad. But when we are measured up
to the lofty standards that God has set, then each of us have failed
in some way. From just the odd lie, to thinking badly about someone
else, we have all fallen. In the book of Romans (3:23) it says…“for
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” In God’s
courtroom – we are judged guilty, and worthy of punishment,
punishment that was worn by Jesus 2,000 years ago. One of the mysteries
of the Christian faith is that there is no such thing as being
good enough or bad enough to get to heaven. You qualify by believing
and receiving Jesus!
