Q Can I become a Christian and keep living the same?
When you become a Christian and receive Jesus’ forgiveness, He begins to change you and your outlook. This means that in fact you don’t want to live the same way; you begin to want to please him in the way you live your life. The bible is full of practical guides of how God intended us to live. This doesn’t mean being burdened down by loads of rules, but it will mean changes. It’s natural that when you fall in love you begin to change. You want to look better, smell better, and the list goes on. Our love for God has the same effect. We find ourselves changing to live a life that brings God pleasure. His moral standards of what is right and wrong will be different from how you have lived before, but he helps us as we follow him.
