Q How can I be sure I am a Christian?
The essential question to ask yourself is this – do you believe that Jesus is God, that He died for your sin and that He rose again and offered you a chance to be put right in your relationship with God? If you believe that, and receive the offer, you can be sure you are a Christian. The bible says ‘It's in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free--signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit.’ (Ephesians 1:13, The Message). Once you make the choice to follow Christ, the Holy Spirit seals that decision. Though you may at times have doubts (which would be natural), and sometimes feel insecure, you can’t be robbed of the greatest gift you’ve ever received!
